Dear Parent

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW ARRIVAL!

Baby and stork image

Congratulations on your new arrival! Becoming a parent can be one of the most challenging, but also one of the most rewarding experiences, whether you are parent for the first time or already have other children.

We've put together some information that may be helpful for you as you navigate this journey!

You will need to contact reception to book a "New Baby Check" which is done when your baby is between 6-8 weeks old. This involves a top to toe examination of your baby by one of the GPs. This is followed by a nurse appointment for the first set of immunisations.

If you would like to book an appointment for yourself to discuss your contraception going forward then please book this with our nurse. We will endeavour to book you in at the same time you are bringing baby to avoid a separate trip to the surgery. If you have any concerns about your general health since having baby or are experiencing any mental health difficulties please book an appointment with one of the GP's to discuss.
