About this service

FORENSIC EXAMINATION AND/OR TESTING

If you have been advised by the police or hospital services to attend the GP for examination and/or swabs or tests following sexual assault, you have been advised incorrectly.

We are not qualified or properly equipped to examine victims of sexual abuse and notably, in criminal cases, the chain of custody of tests and results must be preserved. Accordingly, this is a specialised area, therefore please contact one of the services below.
