WE HAVE CHANGED ACCESS TO ONLINE CONSULTATIONS

eConsult, our online consultation service, has contributed to a doubling of demand over recent months. In order to maintain safe working practices, we are returning to a more traditional service. eConsult is still available, however its availability and scope will be reduced.

For more information please visit our status update page.

HOW TO ACCESS THE HELP YOU NEED

In line with current NHS guidance and practice philosophy, patients are encouraged to self-care and self-refer to appropriate sources of help where possible (if you're not sure who to see first, use our symptom checker or visit our help page), and find out how we're managing your condition during covid. To access support for low mood, anxiety or mental health issues, please visit our dedicated mental health support page.

eConsult remains available, but will be for access to self-help only.

If you need medical help, please ring us during working hours, call 111 , use the NHS 111 online service or visit NHS Health A-Z . If we have reached capacity for the day, any further assessments will be on the basis of clinical need and urgency only.
