Recent news regarding the threats to general practice has led to confusion amoungst existing patients and new Ripley residents. We would like to reassure all current and potential patients that we are not under any immediate threat.

Some of our earlier news articles explain the issues in more detail. Many doctors and other outside observers feel that the government  is making unecessary changes to the way GPs deliver care which will fundamentally alter the current doctor patient relationship and local provision of services.  These reforms might affect the future of all local practices. However, no local practice is under any immediate threat.
