In an attempt to help relieve the pressure on Primary Care the government launched a National Pandemic Flu Service yesterday.

You can access the service via the website www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk or on the telephone 0800 1513 100.

We would ask patients to kindly consider using this service before contacting us when enquiring about any issues relating to swine flu or suspected swine flu. We are struggling to keep up with all our routine work because of extra time spent dealing with suspected and actual cases. We would very much like to continue with all our usual routine and emergency work, and are hopeful that this new service will allow us to do so.
