New Repeat Prescribing System 6 July, 01:15 PM

Following on from previous notices regarding the end of our original on-line prescription service, we have now closed the facility.

From now on, all patients must register with the EMIS access system in order to request prescriptions on-line.

This system does have a more involved security checking procedure, but we hope you will understand that this is in the interests of protecting your confidential information.

Future Plans

The EMIS access system will allow us to offer more services on-line, including booking appointments, notifying us of change of address and possibly even viewing some of your medical records on-line.  We will only expand the service once we are sure that it is working safely, and we will ensure we inform you and the Ivy Grove Patient Participation Group in any further developments.

Repeat Prescribing Update20 May, 01:15 PM

For some time now we have been registering all new patients with the EMIS access online prescribing system. As this has worked very well, we are planning to move all patients across to the new system.

Eventually this new system will also enable you to book appointments online and contact us with changed of address. There is a possibility it will be extended to securely allow you to view parts of your medical records online too.

We are planning to move everybody over to the new system before 30th June 2010. Any accounts still in use at this time will be disabled. Please see the prescribing section for details on how to register on the new system.
